These terms govern your use of the Muscle Memory mobile application (the "app"), operated by Juandre Nimb, Cape Town, South Africa. By installing or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. What the app is

Muscle Memory is a personal workout logging tool. It is not a substitute for professional medical, fitness, or nutritional advice. Any information the app presents is for personal-record-keeping purposes only.

2. Your account

You may use the app anonymously and offline. If you sign in with Google, an account is created for you so your data can sync across devices. You are responsible for the security of your Google account and for the accuracy of any data you enter.

3. Muscle Memory Pro subscription

• Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or annual) with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers only.
• Subscriptions are billed by Google Play. Google collects and processes all payments.
• Payment is charged to your Google Play account at the end of the trial and at the start of each renewal period, unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
• You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time via your Google Play → Subscriptions.
• Refunds are handled per Google Play's refund policy. We do not process refunds directly.
• If your subscription lapses, you retain access to features and data logged while free; only Pro-exclusive features (structured programs, auto-progression, plan weight prefill, data export) become unavailable.

4. Your data

Your workout data belongs to you. We store it on our backend only to sync it between your own devices. You can export it (Pro) or delete your entire account and all associated data from Settings at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code except as permitted by law.
• Use the app to store or transmit anything unlawful.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our backend or other users' data.
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the app.

6. Availability and changes

We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the app at any time. Material changes to paid features will be communicated in advance where reasonably possible.

7. Not medical advice

The app makes no medical, therapeutic, or fitness-outcome claims. Suggested rep increases, weight progressions, and program schedules are generic heuristics and should not be relied on in place of a qualified coach or medical professional. You exercise entirely at your own risk. Consult a doctor before starting any training programme, especially if you have a pre-existing condition.

8. Warranty disclaimer

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data will be preserved if you don't maintain your own backup (Pro export is available for this purpose).

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to injury, loss of data, or lost profits. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you have paid for the app in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of South Africa, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you in your country of residence.
